ENACTUS NATIONAL COMPETITION
What is the National Competition?
National Competitions are challenging, team-oriented annual events that create a sense of accountability and motivation for teams to continually improve the quality of their projects. These events also provide an opportunity for networking, collaboration, and sharing best practices, further enhancing the value of the learning experience and the overall effectiveness of the program.
During the National Competition, all Enactus teams compete in front of a jury to select the National Champion team, which will represent Italy at the Enactus World Cup.
The National Competition is also an occasion in which Enactus Italia brings together the entire network and welcomes new friends. Corporate partners, academic representatives, third sector professionals and students those involved meet to compare, exchange ideas, acquire new perspectives and expand their network of contacts.
Attending this extraordinary event means connecting with like-minded people, industry professionals and potential collaborators.
A look back at the 2024 edition
The 8th edition of the Enactus Italy National Competition took place in Rome on May 16-17, 2024! The incredible UNESCO site was the setting for the most anticipated Enactus event of the year. The European University of Rome opened its spaces to all our students for the most special day of their journey with Enactus, hosting the competition and the many initiatives offered during the event.
Teams from all the universities and ITS affiliated with Enactus Italy competed in four groups during the Opening Round of the competition, and the four winning teams performed on stage in the Final Round.
Subsequently, one team was recognized as National Champion, winning the opportunity to enter the prestigious Enactus World Cup.
This year, for the first time in the history of Enactus Italy, we hosted a session dedicated to Enactus projects determined to reach the market in the short-medium term.
We presented the results of the Enactus Pre-Acceleration Program, in collaboration with WDA, with 5 selected impact startups that presented their entrepreneurial visions to a jury of investors.

The winning team
Enactus La Sapienza
Enactus La Sapienza presented the Keralight Solutions project, aimed at making the cosmetic and pharmaceutical sectors more sustainable through the use of waste human hair, promoting the principles of the circular economy.
Through an innovative and sustainable chemical process, the team extracts keratin from hair and converts it into green hydrogel.
This substance is then used to create new sustainable cosmetic products.
