Enactus Italy was established in 2016 as part of Enactus. Enactus Italy’s mission is to engage the next generation of entrepreneurial leaders to use innovation and business principles to improve the world.
Enactus Italy carries out its mission by bringing university students and faculty advisors together with renowned business leaders, thus bridging the gap between the academic world and the professional one. This is achieved by encouraging each Enactus university team to develop sustainable, entrepreneurial, and social projects aimed at tackling the problems present in the communities in which they operate.
Every year, Enactus Italy organizes a National Competition where all university teams compete against each other in front of a panel of judges from the business world, not only to celebrate their achievements throughout the academic year, but also to win the honour of representing Italy at the Enactus World Cup.
This year National Competition is happening on the 25th of May in Trento as part of the Festival dell’Economia and the Final Round of Competition will be available in streaming at the following link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vP1DjNniO7E at 2.30 PM.
All Enactus competitions are judged following the same criterion: Which Enactus team most effectively demonstrated entrepreneurial leadership to drive business and innovation for sustainable positive impact to benefit people, planet, and prosperity within the last year.
